CAPA memberships are full-term and run until the membership year is over (July 1 - June 30). Because of the year-long advocacy benefits that come with your membership, no refunds are permitted. Membership may be canceled after the completion of your membership year term (after July 1). Automatic Payments: If you have chosen automatic payments for either auto-renewal or a semiannual payment schedule, please contact CAPA before July 1 to modify your billing schedule.

By providing your contact information, you agree that we may contact you by telephone (including cell phones), email or other internet facilities, with respect to CAPA and CAPA related information, and other offerings we may make available in the future. Calls may be live or pre-recorded and calls or texts may be made via automated dialing system.

Associate Starting at $132.50 Semiannually

Granted to those PAs who are not Fellow members of the AAPA. These members are fully active in CAPA and may vote on all matters except those pertaining to AAPA. May hold state office, have floor privileges, serve on or chair a committee, will receive publications and discounts.
Dues: $265.00 per year

Fellow Starting at $132.50 Semiannually

Granted to those PAs who are Fellow members of AAPA. A Fellow member may vote, hold state or national office, serve on or chair a committee, have floor privileges, and will receive publications and discounts.
Dues: $265.00 per year

Physician Starting at $132.50 Semiannually

Any physician who is licensed to practice in the U.S., and wishes to support or maintain a formal relationship with CAPA. These members shall not vote, hold office, serve on or chair committees. They will receive publications and discounts.
Dues: $265.00 per year

Affiliate Starting at $70 Semiannually

Open to non-PAs who wish to support and maintain a formal relationship with CAPA. This includes those who wish to become a PA student. These members shall not vote, hold office, serve on or chair committees. They will receive publications and discounts.
Dues: $140.00 per year

Interim Student $60 Annually

Granted to students currently enrolled in programs for PAs that are approved by the ARC-PA or its successor, and who will graduate during the current CAPA membership year. Interim student members shall be entitled to participate in Academy activities, but shall not be entitled to serve on a committee, vote or hold office.
Dues: $60.00 per year

Military $60 Annually

Open to FULL-TIME PERMANENT/ACTIVE-DUTY PAs: Military members who qualify for Fellow membership in CAPA shall enjoy all the rights of a Fellow if AAPA recognizes CAPA as the constituent chapter representing them with AAPA. Otherwise, if CAPA is not recognized as the constituent chapter representing them with AAPA, they shall have the rights of Associate membership.
Dues: $60.00 per year

Retired $50 Annually

Granted to PAs who have retired completely from the PA profession. Retirement members will receive publications. These members shall not vote, hold office or chair committees. If a retirement member resumes any clinical work as a PA, they will no longer be eligible for retirement membership.
Dues: $50.00 per year

Student $30 Annually

Granted to those students currently enrolled in an entry-level PA program accredited by ARC-PA or its successor*. Student members are fully active in CAPA and may vote to elect the Student Representative who serves on the Board of Directors. Student members may hold the office of Student Representative, have floor privileges, serve on a committee and will receive publications and discounts. (Pre-PA students are not eligible for CAPA Student Membership.)
Dues: $30.00 per year

*If your graduation date is BEFORE 6/30/2025, please apply as an Interim Student.
