2026 marks the 50th anniversary of CAPA. As part of this milestone celebration, CAPA is proud to present the Beyond the Clinic webinar series, a multi-part program highlighting career paths for Physician Associates outside of traditional clinical settings.

Physician Associates are trained to think critically, lead under pressure, and advocate fiercely for patient outcomes, but those same skills extend far beyond traditional clinical settings. In this webinar, host Jaye Camposanto Andaya, PA-C, ATC, shares how the clinical mindset translates directly into business leadership, healthcare innovation, and system-level change. Drawing from her journey from practicing PA to healthcare entrepreneur and regenerative medicine innovator, she will explore how clinical training uniquely prepares PAs to build, scale, and ethically lead within the evolving healthcare landscape.

As medicine shifts toward technology integration, personalized care, and innovation-driven delivery models, clinicians are increasingly needed in decision-making rooms far beyond the bedside. This session will help PAs recognize the transferable power of their training and understand how they can influence healthcare at scale—whether through leadership, entrepreneurship, consulting, digital health, or emerging medical technologies—while staying rooted in patient-first values.
