Advanced Suturing and Surgical Wound Closure Workshop 

11/09/2024 9:30AM - 4:30PM, Lunch from 12:30PM - 1:30PM 

This full day workshop is designed for providers practicing in any surgical field, specifically those who assist in surgery and/or those who wish to advance their training in wound closure. Whether the provider is already proficient in multi-layer closure and simply wishes to learn new skills and techniques or they are a new graduate starting in a surgical specialty, there will be plenty to gain in attending this intensive hands-on course.

Objectives:

- Understand the basics of needle type, geometry and suture gauge and material 

- Improve confidence in a variety of skin closure techniques

- Exposure to conventional as well as barbed suture methods of multilayer wound closure
