Description

Virtual CSEC Course offering 6.0 Category I CME credits via zoom and 2.0 Category I CME credits on-demand. 

This program has been reviewed and is approved for 6 hours Category I (preapproved) CME credit by the American Academy of PAs. It was planned in accordance with the AAPA’s CME Standards for Lecture-Learner Programs and for Commercial Support of Lecture- Learner Programs. In order to fulfill the requirements of the California Code of Regulations Sections: 1399.541(h), 1399.610, and 1399.612 you must attend the entire 6-hour course, take and pass the post-test. Course will begin at 9:00 a.m.

The week prior to the course, you will receive the Zoom webinar invite via the email address we have on file (the email will come from Zoom, not CAPA).

A 15-question, open book, post-course exam will begin at 4:00 p.m. You will need access to a webcam to take this exam. 

The passing score for the test is 60%. We will grade the test the week following the course and we will be emailing the completion confirmations shortly thereafter.

Technical Requirements: Participants must use a laptop or desktop to join the meeting. A tablet or your phone will not allow you to take the test while on Zoom. No exceptions will be made.

2.0 Category I CME credits on-demand are available as soon as you purchase. These 2 additional hours will fulfill the new DEA MATE Act Requirements.
