Our practice is seeking a part-time (2-3 days per week) dynamic Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated dermatology team. In this vital role, you will provide expert clinical care in general dermatology (aesthetics and surgical procedures are ok to your comfort level). Your energetic approach will help elevate patient experiences and ensure the delivery of high-quality skincare services. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive skin assessments, including physical examinations, patient history reviews, and skin biopsies utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Have a full understanding of biologics for a variety of dermatological issues as well as iPledge and isotretinoin treatment
• Being able to perform dermatological procedures such as dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, chemical peels, and aesthetic laser treatments is a plus but not required.
• Manage patient care plans by prescribing medications within collaborative practice agreements while adhering to HIPAA regulations and DEA guidelines.
• Educate patients on skincare routines, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with the dermatologist and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation using EMR/EHR systems---knowledge of EMA is a plus.

Experience

• Must have at least 1-2 years of independent experience in a dermatology clinic as a PA
• Need to have a clear understanding of biologics and isotretinoin
• Familiarity with advanced dermatological procedures including dermal fillers, Botox (botulinum toxin), laser treatments is a plus.
• Strong background in medical office operations with proficiency in EMR/EHR systems--EMA preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT coding for dermatological procedures and ICD coding for accurate documentation.
• Prior exposure to telehealth platforms and remote patient management is highly desirable.
