PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT FOR INTERNAL MEDICINE PRACTICE AFTER HOUR CARE

MONDAY - FRIDAY 5PM-9PM

$68-$74 per hour depending on experience

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES ESSENTIAL DUTIES

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our internal medicine practice for after-hours patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated provider looking for a flexible evening schedule in a supportive outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Provide same-day and after-hours urgent care for established patients.
• Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies as appropriate.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with the supervising physician and office staff to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of California.
• DEA registration and prescribing privileges.
• Experience at least 1 year in internal medicine, family medicine, urgent care, or primary care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the physician as needed.
